Marotta Evolution wins patent infringement lawsuit

Marotta Evolution is delighted to announce that it has obtained a double injunction from the Bari Specialized Business Section against local counterfeiters responsible for infringing the internationally applied-for patents for its automatic burrata production machines.

After having benefited from the previously granted “description” measure, Marotta Evolution has in fact obtained (I) the injunction on the production of machines built on the basis of the technology covered by its patents (as well as on the construction, marketing and advertising of the machines in question “or of any other marketed machine built on the basis of the Marotta Patent”) and (II) the publication of the extract of the provision, as per the attachment which appears today in “La Repubblica”.

Also notable is the cost order that followed the granting of the precautionary measures, amounting overall to approximately 30,000 euros.

Marotta Evolution is therefore convinced that, thanks also to decisions of this type, hypotheses of imitation of its technologies and its machines will become increasingly rare.
